Gerbils are nocturnal and are most active at night. They live for 3 years and grow up to 4". They are gentle and social and can be with other gerbils but only those of the same sex. House your gerbile in a cage that is at least 12x20x12" with multiple levels. Don't put them in direct sunlight and keep temperatures between 65-75 degrees F and low humidity. Cover the bottom with 3"-6" of clean bedding. Spot clean and change bedding as direct by packaging. You may want to add hides.

Feed your gerbil pelleted food daily . You can feed them fresh veggies every other day. They prefer veggies such as squash, carrots, and peas. Once a week you can feed them fruits such as melons, berries, oranges, and pears. Make sure they have clean water at all times.
